1-800-HYDRO-PRO was founded in 2001 in Vancouver, BC Canada and originally operated under the name Hydro-Pro Power Washing offering services to the West Side of Vancouver.
Starting the company from humble beginnings, Hydro-Pro Power Washing began providing our services out of a single ‘retired’ Dairyland Milk truck equipped with only a few second hand power washers. In our first year of business, with little or no marketing efforts to speak of and only referrals to rely upon, it became clear that despite our aesthetic shortcomings early on, the popularity of our services grew quickly as there was immediate demand. Also obvious to us, however, was that the business model and delivery method was in need of improvement in order to fuel sustained growth in the years ahead and to develop a professional and reliable corporate image.
In 2004, the company changed its name to Hydro-Pro Property Services as a result of an expanded service offering. This surfaced in response to several of our clients wanting various services ‘grouped’ instead of calling on multiple service providers for what our clients considered relatively similar services.

Since 2001, 1-800-HYDRO-PRO has grown to be one the largest, and most trusted property services firms in BC and has grown in employment base and revenue in every year since opening for business in early 2001.
Founder, Alex Lando has grown 1-800-HYDRO-PRO into a respected organization that has a bright and exciting future. This has been achieved partly through creating a fun and rewarding work culture, and continuously innovating and applying a forward-thinking approach to the property services business model.
In late 2010, Hydro-Pro Property Services was successful in acquiring the Toll Free number that allows our company to have our corporate name as our number which in the world of marketing, is considered as good as gold. (1-800-493-7677 = 1-800-HYDRO-PRO)
As a result, our company has now rebranded to 1-800-HYDRO-PRO including having undergone a full system-wide rebranding, a new corporate website and logo, and new fleet vehicles representing this new brand.
In 2016 we moved our painting division to HP Painting Services
